Osteoarthritis

Do you suffer from Osteoarthritis of the knee?

Volunteers are needed to participate in a clinical research study for an investigational medication for osteoarthritis (OA).
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a very slow progressing disease of the joints which affects more than 80% of everyone over the age of 55. Female sufferers are invited for the opportunity to participate in a clinical trial to test an exploratory drug that may slow down or stop the progression of OA.
Qualified participants will receive study-related medication (or a placebo), as well as study-related lab tests and medical exams.
You may qualify if:

  • You are a female over the age of 40.
  • You suffer from Osteoarthritis of the knee with pain, aching or stiffness on most days of a month during the past year.
  • You have no anticipated surgery on the knee in the next two years.
